Welcome to Espace Vital Camping, we are Paul and Leanne, originally from the UK and we settled in the Morvan in 2018. We fell in love with the natural beauty of the surroundings and wanted to make this place our home. We love the rural, peaceful lifestyle the campsite offers, from the amazing night skies to the local people. Only a stones throw from the historic town of Autun, you can choose to either relax or explore the region during your stay with us.

Free WiFi
Free wifi is available on site. Perfect for digital nomads or keeping up with your favorite tv show.
Bar/Lounge Area & Fire Pit
Cold refreshments and ice creams are available and a space to sit and relax/ meet other guests away from your pitch. The Fire Pit is available to use by all, either to toast your marshmallows, or warm up on those cooler nights
Pool
Perfect for cooling off after a relaxing day in the sun, or a hike/cycle around the beautiful surrounding area
Food
Full price list available in bar. Snacks available daily 12-2pm and 5pm-7.30pm. Large groups can be accommodated for, advance booking required.
Fresh Bread
Fresh bread and pastries delivered from our local boulangerie, must be pre-ordered the night before. Not available on Monday
Bike Hire
Both electric and standard bikes available for you to explore the area by pedal. Additional charges incurred dependent on bike type
Hot Tub Spa
Please booked 24 hours in advance. Available on selected days/evenings.
Massage Treatments
By appointment only on selected days, full list of treatments and prices available in our reception area. New relaxation and massage area coming soon.
Pets Welcome
Well behaved dogs are welcome onsite, however they must be kept on a leash at all times. Any guests with a pet we deem to be unfriendly or those who do not clean up after their pets will be requested to leave.

In our local Town Autun, there are many bars and restaurants to choose from. Local to us is Chez Cecile in La Grande-Verriere (booking recommended), La Petite Auberge in Glux-en-Glenne (booking recommended) and in Saint Leger sous Beuvray, you have a choice of the Hotel Du Morvan and Morvan D’elle
Autun
The Town of Autun is listed as one of the 100 important Historic Towns in France. It is a Roman Town, full of historic interest.
For those looking for more adventure, activities are held on the lake plus the Velorail through the Morvan, further information is also available on the Tourism website.
Bibracte
This was the original settlement of the Gauls before they were conquered by the Romans, who then went on to build Augustodunum, now Autun. One of the 12 grand sites of France, with ongoing excavation and Museum. – Further information can be found on their website.
Lac Des Settons
A short drive away, outstanding natural beauty. Good for walking, cycling and many activities on the lake. Bars and restaurants surrounding for those looking for refreshment with a view.
